Veneers

Veneers are thin porcelain cosmetic dental restorations that are bonded on the outside of a tooth. Containing no metal, they can be very translucent, allowing for some of the most lifelike restorations possible. Extremely durable and stain resistant, dental veneers can be used to restore a single tooth or enhance your entire smile.

Crowns

Today, most front tooth crowns are made of materials with no metals in them. This eliminates the old 'black line' along the gums, and allows for a much more realistic and vital-looking tooth. Front tooth crowns replace the missing tooth structure, add strength to a tooth, and look very natural. In-smile designs that include multiple teeth and crowns (where necessary) can be used in conjunction with veneers to achieve the ultimate smile.

Whitening/Bleaching

If you feel your teeth are darker than you'd like, bleaching may be your solution for a brighter, more attractive smile. At-home bleaching involves making a set of soft and comfortable custom-fit trays that you can wear at your leisure for approximately 30 minutes. Over the next few weeks, your teeth will lighten 3-4 shades. Ask us about our in-office bleaching.

Bonding/Tooth-Colored Filling

If you have old, stained fillings that are detracting from your smile, replacing them with the new generation of bonding materials may give you that more youthful, attractive smile. Bonding can also be used to close spaces and create minor shape changes in teeth.

Tooth Replacement

Missing front teeth can be solidly replaced with a bridge or an implant. A front tooth bridge can be made with no metal, giving a very lifelike appearance. The implant can be very conservative and not involve the tooth on either side of the space. Dr. Coombs or Dr. Brewer can share with you what would work best in your situation.

Cerec crowns

Cerec Crowns are crowns that we can make in office while you wait — no coming back for a second appointment. Here's a brief description how a crown is made:

  1. An optical 3D image is acquired with a small camera wand that is placed in your mouth to take a photo.

  2. The restoration is created on the screen using the image data

  3. The image gets sent to the milling machine where a ceramic block is placed to reproduce the design.

  4. Then after adjustments are made we add color and bake it to finish your beautiful new crown.

  5. This is accomplished during a single appointment.

Not all crowns can be done this way we still have situations that require some to be sent to the local lab.
